In The Community

Employment Innovations (EI) is motivated to contribute to the well-being of local and international communities by extending our core company values (responsibility; innovation; connection; service; ambition; and teamwork) beyond our office doors. We believe being corporately responsible makes us accountable and transparent, and is critical to the success of our company. That’s why we have partnered with both True Blue Dreaming and Opportunity International Australia.

True Blue Dreaming (TBD) is a youth and community development mentoring program targeted at young people aged 12–18 in rural and remote Australian communities.

TBD programs have been successfully delivered in the Wheatbelt and Kimberley regions of Western Australia since 2004.  During that time TBD have helped in the development of many young people. We support TBD because we believe that their youth mentoring provides invaluable contribution to community development and is a practical way to help young people strive for their dreams.

We hope you too get involved to grow the dream of young Australians. For more information on True Blue Dreaming, or to donate, please visit www.truebluedreaming.org.au

Opportunity International Australia is a non-profit organisation that exists to provide people living in poverty with the opportunity to transform their lives. Offering a hand up rather than a hand-out, we use a sustainable approach to solve poverty – empowering families through community development programs and loans as small as $100 to help them grow their own small business. These services mean that families no longer have to struggle to afford food, water, healthcare and an education for their children.

With more than 40 years’ experience, Opportunity is one of seven support members of the Opportunity International Network, found in Australia, the US, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada and Germany. We provide access to savings, small business loans, insurance and training to more than four million people working their way out of poverty in the developing world. Clients in over 20 countries use these financial services to start or expand a business, provide for their families, create jobs for their neighbours and build a safety net for the future.
